Veronica Kairos

Resident Artist

Veronica Kairos is an artist who works in multiple media. As early as high school, she designed and handcrafted costumes for community theater productions.  She later studied photography, working as a free-lance photographer for local newspapers and social events.  While taking continuing education college classes in ceramics, she discovered a passion for sculpture and furthered her studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and at Fleisher Art Memorial.  Her sculptures range from classic portraiture to whimsical abstract creations.  She has been known to sculpt from unexpected materials on occasion, including cake and chocolate.

Exploring mosaic as an embellishment for sculpture, she took courses in mosaics at Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood, NJ and discovered an affinity for the art form which draws from multiple disciplines.

Ms. Kairos’ artwork has won multiple awards for excellence. Her work has been displayed in numerous galleries and museums in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area including the Noyes Museum, PAFA and Philadelphia City Hall Art Gallery and has been purchased for several private permanent collections.
